If you're reading this, I'm going to assume something in your life isn't quite working right now. Maybe you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. My role is to help you make sense of the patterns that have led you to this point—so together, we can chart a path toward something better.
I support people experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and neurodivergence including Autism and ADHD. But you don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from therapy. If you’re finding it hard to manage the way you think, feel or behave—or if something just doesn’t feel right—therapy may offer a space to explore and heal.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from a range of psychological theories and evidence-based models, adapting them to fit the unique person sitting in front of me. No two people are the same, and I believe therapy should reflect that.
I’m trained in several therapeutic approaches, including:
I know the world of therapy can feel full of confusing acronyms and jargon. That’s why, especially in our early sessions, I take time to explain how each approach works, why I think it may help, and how we’ll tailor it to support your needs, values, and goals.
Ultimately, therapy with me is a collaborative process. You bring your lived experience; I bring my clinical knowledge—and together, we work to create lasting, meaningful change.
I’ve worked with all sorts of people, in all sorts of places—from the NHS to charities, private practice, and even a health retreat in the Peak District where I was Clinical Director. My path has taken me across continents and into a wide range of settings, including time in Australia where I specialise in assessment and therapy for neurodivergent people, particularly those with Autism (ASD) and ADHD. It’s work that calls for curiosity, creativity, and compassion; three of my guiding values.
I have a particular interest in the big themes: identity, trauma, anxiety— what it means to feel at home in yourself and in the world. I’ve pursued extra training in these areas, and I’m committed to continued learning (because the work is never done, for any of us).
I’ve also spent time in NHS gender clinics, working with both young people and adults, and I continue to offer therapy across gender spectrums, supported by ongoing professional development and supervision through the Northern Gender Network.
My mission is to create a space where people feel deeply seen, heard, and free to explore what’s true for them. I want to help you reconnect with your authentic Self, moving towards a life that feels meaningful, grounded, and fulfilling.
